- La Catedral de San Jorge (alternativamente Iglesia de San Jorge) es el nombre que recibe un edificio religioso que pertenece a la iglesia católica y sigue el rito bizantino de la Iglesia greco-católica melquita una de las iglesias orientales en plena comunión con el papa en Roma. Se localiza en el sector de Montalbán en la 3.ª Avenida Montalbán 2 cerca de la Autopista Francisco Fajardo y el Río Guaire en el Municipio Libertador al oeste del Distrito Metropolitano de Caracas y al centro norte del país sudamericano de Venezuela.Se diferencia de la Catedral de Caracas en que esta sigue el rito latino o romano, aunque ambas son iglesias católicas bajo la autoridad papal. Como su nombre lo indica fue dedicada a San Jorge uno de los santos orientales que nació en palestina y murió decapitadó por orden del emperador Diocleciano. (es)
- The Cathedral of Saint George (Spanish: Catedral de San Jorge), also known simply as St. George's Church, is a cathedral of the Melkite Greek Catholic Church in Caracas, Venezuela. It is located in the Montalbán zone at 3rd. Avenue Montalban 2 near the Francisco Fajardo Highway and the Guaire River, in the west of Libertador Municipality. It is the seat of the Melkite Greek Catholic Apostolic Exarchate of Venezuela, which encompasses all of Venezuela. The Melkite Church is part of the Catholic Church in communion with the Pope in Rome, but observes the Byzantine Rite, and is to be distinguished from the Cathedral of Saint Anne, the cathedral for the Roman Rite church and seat of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Caracas. It is dedicated to Saint George (San Jorge), a Greek-Palestinian saint who by martyred during the Diocletianic Persecution of 303. (en)
