- Das Sistema Nacional de Creadores de Arte in Mexiko (SNCA; dt.: Nationales System der Kunstschöpfer) wurde zur Förderung und Anerkennung der kreativen Aktivitäten der Künste als essentieller Bestandteil nationaler Identität und Wertschätzung aufgrund eines öffentlichen Präsidialbeschlusses (Amtsblatt vom 3. September 1993) gegründet. Wirtschaftlicher Träger ist der nationale Kunst- und Kulturrat "Consejo Nacional para la Cultura y las Artes" (CONACULTA). Dem SNCA gehören zahlreiche namhafte Bildende Künstler und Wissenschaftler an, die mit ihrer Arbeit zur künstlerischen Identität Mexikos beigetragen haben bzw. weiter beitragen. Zum Förderprogramm gehören unter anderem Stipendien aus dem nationalen Fond für Kultur und Künste ( - FONCA) für in- und ausländische Künstler und Kunstwissenschaftler, die sich im Bereich der mexikanischen Kunst engagieren. Este programa es convocado por el Fondo Nacional para la Cultura y las Artes (FONCA), con base en consejos de dictaminación ciudadanos donde un grupo de artistas debaten a quién se le concederán los apoyos financieros y por cuánto tiempo. El Sistema Nacional de Creadores depende del Secretaria de Cultura. El FONCA se fundó en 1989 durante el sexenio de Carlos Salinas de Gortari. (es)
- The Sistema Nacional de Creadores de Arte (SNCA; National System of Art Creators) is program developed by the former Consejo Nacional para la Cultura y las Artes, and founded per presidential decree on September 3, 1993. Its goal is the advancement and acceptance of creative activities as an essential part of national identity. It is Mexico's most prestigious arts' grant and a majority of Mexico's most notable architects, fiction writers, poets, essayists, painters, photographers, visual artists, screenwriters, filmmakers, and others who have rendered outstanding services through their work to the creative identity of Mexico, have belonged or currently belong to the program. To apply to the Sistema Nacional de Creadores de Arte, artists must be over 35 years in age and have received both domestic and internacional recognition for their work. The grant program of the SNCA includes bourses paid by the Fondo Nacional para la Cultura y las Artes (FONCA). (en)
