- Shuanghedong (双河洞) ist mit einer Länge von über 257 km das längste Höhlensystem Chinas und auf Platz 5 der längsten Höhlen der Welt. Es befindet sich nahe der Stadt Wenquan, Kreis Suiyang in der Provinz Guizhou. Seit der Entdeckung der Gips- und Dolomithöhle im Jahre 1987 wird sie durch internationale Forscherteams erkundet. Dabei wurden neben zahlreichen Fossilien auch Höhlentiere, wie troglobionte Insekten, Fische und Salamander entdeckt. Bisher sind für dieses Höhlensystem 203 Eingänge bekannt. (de)
- Shuanghedong (双河洞), is the longest cave in China, in Asia, and the 5th longest in the world in 2020. It is located near the town of Wenquan in Suiyang County, Guizhou Province. This gypsum and dolomite cave has carbon dioxide levels of approximately 400ppm, with a constant temperature of about 13 degrees Celsius year round. The cave contains numerous waterfalls, and at least three underground rivers, some of which contain cave shrimp, and fish weighing several pounds. Also found, have been tadpoles, frogs, salamanders, insects, spiders, bats, leeches, blind fish, and mushrooms. Since 1987, at least 20 expeditions from France and Japan have explored the cave. (en)

C'est la plus longue grotte de Chine et aussi la plus longue d'Asie ainsi que la sixième plus longue grotte du monde. Entre 1987 et 2019, une expédition sino-japonaise et une vingtaine d'expéditions spéléologiques sino-françaises ont été menées dans ce réseau. (fr)
