- The Samarth-class offshore patrol vessel are a series of eleven offshore patrol vessels being built by Goa Shipyard Limited for the Indian Coast Guard. The construction of Samarth class was motivated by a desire to triple the Coast Guard assets in the aftermath of 2008 Mumbai attacks. They are an improvement over the earlier Sankalp class, with a larger beam and more powerful engines. The ships are being constructed in two batches—a batch of six ordered in May 2012 that was completed in December 2017 and a follow-on batch of five ordered in August 2016. (en)
- La classe Samarth est une série de onze patrouilleurs construite au chantier naval de Goa (GSL) pour la Garde côtière indienne (ICG). La construction de la classe Samarth a été motivée par le désir de tripler les actifs de la Garde côtière à la suite des attentats de 2008 à Bombay. Ils sont une amélioration par rapport à la classe Sankalp précédente, avec des moteurs plus puissants. Les navires sont construits en deux lots : un lot de six unités commandées en mai 2012 qui a été achevé en décembre 2017 et un lot de cinq unités commandées en août 2016. (fr)
