- Der Saba National Marine Park ist ein maritimer Nationalpark in der Karibik. Er umfasst die Gewässer um die Insel Saba, eine der besonderen Gemeinden der Niederlande. Der Park wurde im Jahr 1987 eingerichtet und erhielt 2010 den offiziellen Status als Nationalpark. - El Parque nacional marino de Saba abarca la aguas y el mar que rodea la isla caribeña de Saba, un territorio del Reino de los Países Bajos, desde la cota máxima de 200 pies (60 metros) de profundidad. En total, el parque marino cubre aproximadamente 5 millas cuadradas (13 kilómetros cuadrados). En el momento de su creación en 1987, el gobierno aprobó la Ordenanza de Medio Ambiente Marino para proteger los arrecifes de coral y otras especies marinas dentro del parque. La Fundación de Conservación de Saba gestiona el Parque Nacional Marino, así como la instalación hiperbárica de la isla y los sitios naturales en tierra . Una serie de regulaciones intentan asegurar que la vida acuática del parque se mantenga saludable. El área se divide en zonas de acuerdo con los usos aceptables. La pesca comercial está prohibida en determinados lugares para evitar la sobrepesca. Los arrecifes están protegidos contra daños por 36 boyas ancladas permanentemente donde los barcos pueden amarrar. In total, the marine park covers approximately 5 square miles (13 km2). At the time of its creation in 1987, the government passed the Marine Environment Ordinance to protect the coral reefs and other marine life within the park. The Saba Conservation Foundation manages the Saba National Marine Park, as well as the island's hyperbaric facility and natural sites on land. (en)
- Het Saba National Marine Park is een zeereservaat en nationaal park rond Saba in Caribisch Nederland. Het zeereservaat bevat 1300 hectare rond de gehele kust van het eiland Saba tot een diepte van 60 meter. Door de regering van de Nederlandse Antillen werd het gebied in 1987 als national park aangewezen en het wordt beheerd door de Saba Conservation Foundation. Er zijn meerdere koraalriffen in het gebied en naast natuurbescherming staat ook toerisme centraal in het gebied. Het Saba National Marine Park is geliefd bij duikers die alleen onder begeleiding mogen duiken.
