- L'Special Interest Group on Computer-Human Interaction (SIGCHI) és un grup d'interès especial de l'Associació per a la Computació de Maquinària ( ACM) en el domini de la interacció persona-ordinador. Aquest grup participa en les conferències MobileHCI organitzades pel SIGMOBILE. Acull la conferència internacional anual HCI, CHI, amb prop de 2.500 assistents, i publica ACM Interactions i ACM Transactions on Computer-Human Interaction (TOCHI). SIGCHI es va constituir el 1982 amb el nom i la renovació del Grup d'Interès Especial sobre Informàtica Social i Comportamental (SIGSOC). Lorraine Borman, anteriorment editora del Butlletí SIGSOC, va ser la seva primera càtedra. SIGCHI està governat per un conjunt de reglaments i els càrrecs electes de SIGCHI són el president, el vicepresident executiu, el vicepresident de membres i comunicacions, el vicepresident de finances i dos vicepresidents en general. SIGCHI té dues publicacions dels membres, el Butlletí SIGCHI i ACM Interactions. Cada any SIGCHI indueix al voltant de 7 o 8 persones a la CHI Academy, honrant-les per la seva contribució significativa al camp de la interacció humà-ordinador. També lliura un premi CHI Lifetime Achievement per a la investigació i pràctiques, el Premi CHI Lifetime Service i el Premi CHI Social Impact.Cada any SIGCHI indueix al voltant de 7 o 8 persones a l'CHI Academy, honrant-les per la seva contribució significativa al camp de la interacció humà-ordinador. - Die SIGCHI (englisch Special Interest Group on Computer-Human Interaction) ist eine Themengruppe der Association for Computing Machinery (ACM), die sich mit Mensch-Computer-Interaktion beschäftigt. Die wichtigste von der SIGCHI organisierte Konferenzserie Human Factors in Computing Systems (CHI) besteht seit 1982 und findet jährlich statt. Sie ist die größte und bekannteste Konferenz zum Thema. Daneben werden weitere wissenschaftliche Konferenzen, beispielsweise die MobileHCI und das Symposium on Mixed and Augmented Reality (ISMAR) unterstützt. Außerdem gibt sie wissenschaftliche Zeitschriften wie die Transactions on Computer-Human Interaction heraus. Seit 1998 wird von der SIGCHI jährlich der CHI Lifetime Achievement Award vergeben. Erstmals erhielt ihn Douglas C. Engelbart unter anderem für seine Arbeiten zu Hypertext, Kollaboration, Telekonferenzen und der Maus. - The Special Interest Group on Computer–Human Interaction (SIGCHI) is one of the Association for Computing Machinery's special interest groups which is focused on human–computer interactions (HCI). It hosts the flagship annual international HCI conference, CHI, with over 3,000 attendees, and publishes ACM Interactions and ACM Transactions on Computer-Human Interaction (TOCHI). It also sponsors over 20 specialized conferences and provides in-cooperation support to over 30 conferences. SIGCHI has two membership publications, the ACM TechNews - SIGCHI Edition and ACM Interactions. Until 2000, the SIGCHI Bulletin was also published as a membership publication. (en)
