- قُوّات الدِفَّاع الجوّي المَلكِيَّ السُّعُوديَّ هي فرع خدمة الدفاع الجوي للقوات المسلحة الملكية وواحدة من أركان الحرب العامة النِظامية بوزارة الدفاع السعودية. وهي القوة العسكرية المعنية بتأمين الحماية التامة لأجواء المملكة العربية السعودية، بالإشتراك مع القوات الجوية الملكية، وذلك باستخدام أرقى ما توصلت إليه التقنية الحديثة من الوسائل القادرة على إزالة خطر الطائرات المهاجمة والصواريخ المعادية عن كافة المناطق الحيوية والنقاط الحساسة التي تمثل مصادر الثروة ومختلف مراكز الإنتاج في البلاد. وتعد أنظمة قوات الدفاع الجوي السعودي من أعقد أنظمة الدفاع الجوي في منطقة الشرق الأوسط والعالم الإسلامي. - The Saudi Arabian Air Defense Forces or officially Royal Saudi Air Defense Forces (RSADF) (Arabic: قُوَّات الدِفَاع الجوّي المَلكِيَّ السُّعُودِي) is the aerial defense service branch of the Saudi Arabian Armed Forces. It is fourth of the five service branches of the MOD. It has its HQ in Riyadh, where there is also an elaborate underground command facility that co-ordinates the Arabian Kingdom's advanced "Peace Shield" radar and air defense system, with an estimated 40,000 active duty military personnel in 2015. Along with the Royal Saudi Air Force (RSAF), it has responsibility for securing the skies of Saudi Arabia. (en)
- La Regia forza di difesa aerea saudita (in arabo: قوات الـدفاع الجوي الـملكية السعودية) è la quarta forza armata saudita. È stata istituita nel 1955 e fino al 1966 era parte dell'esercito. Suo primo comandante è stato il giovanissimo principe Khalid bin Sultan Al Sa'ud. Ha sede a Riad nel palazzo del Ministero della difesa. Questa forza armata ha a disposizione i seguenti armamenti:
* 17 radar a lungo raggio a ricerca tridimensionale della Lockheed Martin;
* 6 radar tattici di ricerca aerea portatili della Northrop-Grumman;
* Raytheon MIM-23 Hawk;
* MIM-104 Patriot;
* doppi cannoni terra-aria della Oerlikon-Bührle. (it)
