- Το Ντέρμπι του Ρότερνταμ είναι η αγωνιστική αντιπαλότητα ανάμεσα στις 3 ομάδες του Ρότερνταμ: την Φέγενορντ, την Σπάρτα Ρότερνταμ και την Εξέλσιορ. Το Ρότερνταμ είναι η μόνη πόλη στην Ολλανδία που φιλοξενεί 3 ομάδες. Celles-ci se construisent essentiellement sur un socle d'antagonismes socio-culturels ainsi que sur des raisons géographiques. La plus importante de ces rivalités est celle opposant le Feyenoord Rotterdam au Sparta Rotterdam, qui est considérée comme « le » derby de Rotterdam, bien que ce titre soit utilisé pour toute rencontre opposant des clubs rotterdamois. Rotterdam a aussi la particularité d'être la seule ville aux Pays-Bas qui compte trois clubs professionnels. (fr)
- The term Rotterdam derby refers to the local derbies in Rotterdam played between two of the three professional football clubs Feyenoord, Sparta Rotterdam or Excelsior. It specifically refers to individual matches between the clubs, but can also be used to describe the general ongoing rivalry between the clubs, players and/or fans. Rotterdam is the only city in the Netherlands hosting three professional football clubs. The only other Dutch city to host more than one professional football club is Eindhoven, home of PSV and FC Eindhoven. However, the two Eindhoven clubs hardly play head-to-head due to FC Eindhoven's common lower division-status. (en)
