- RoboCop: La Serie Animada es una serie animada producida en la década de 1980 por Marvel Productions, y se basa en el personaje y corto acontecimientos de la película RoboCop. La serie animada se elaboró a partir del material de origen, calificado como R-Rated, una tendencia que se mantuvo para series como Rambo y . Entre los cambios más notables tenemos la eliminación de las balas (sustituidas por armas láser) y un escenario más de ciencia ficción. Robocop, en el dibujo animado original, tenía en la mitad de su visor una luz roja que ocasionalmente ocupaba el visor entero. Esto estuvo inspirado en la computadora HAL de 2001: Una Odisea del Espacio, la cual tenía una luz roja en su ojo. - RoboCop is a 1988 superhero animated series based on the 1987 movie RoboCop. The cartoon aired as part of the Marvel Action Universe programming block. It is set in alternate continuity where events similar to those shown in the movie happened, excluding Clarence Boddicker's death, who shows up in the last episode. The series was animated by AKOM Productions. The show made a number of changes to the RoboCop universe to make it more appropriate for younger viewers, including replacing bullets with laser weapons and shifting the series to a more science fiction setting. In this series, RoboCop had a red light in the middle of his visor (which occasionally panned the whole visor). Ownership of the series passed to Disney in 2001 when Disney acquired Fox Kids Worldwide, which also includes Marvel Productions. But the series is not available on Disney+. (en)
