- Revolte im Erziehungshaus ist ein deutscher Stummfilm aus dem Jahre 1930, den Georg Asagaroff nach dem gleichnamigen Bühnenstück von Peter Martin Lampel für die Grohnert-Film-Produktion (Berlin) gedreht hatte. Der Film erzählt die Leidensgeschichte dreier Jungen, die in eine Erziehungsanstalt gesteckt und dort lieblos und brutal behandelt werden, bis sie schließlich Widerstand leisten und die anderen Jungen zur Revolte gegen die engstirnige Anstaltsleitung anstiften. Die Handlung beruht auf realen Begebenheiten, wie sie vom Verfasser Lampel selbst erlebt und aufgezeichnet wurden. Revolte im Erziehungshaus muss heute als verschollen gelten. Erhalten sind nur etwa 30 Standbilder daraus, sie wurden 2012 in der Ausstellung „Verratzt und verkooft - Fürsorgeerziehung in Struveshof“ in der Mensa 2 des Landesinstituts für Schulen und Medien LISUM Berlin-Brandenburg gezeigt. The film was based on a play by intended as an exposé of the youth justice system. The film was considered controversial, and was banned four times before its eventual release. D'ispirazione socialista, il film venne girato nel 1929 ma, al momento della distribuzione nelle sale, non ottenne il visto di censura. L'uscita dovette essere rimandata fino al gennaio 1930 quando fu presentato con sostanziali tagli che ne snaturarono la forza drammatica, riducendolo a un qualsiasi dramma in costume. (it)
