- Der Turmhügel Rüssenbach ist eine abgegangene Wasserburg vom Typus einer Turmhügelburg (Motte) am Nordrand von Rüssenbach, einem Gemeindeteil des Marktes Ebermannstadt im Landkreis Forchheim in Bayern. Die 1129 erwähnte und 1525 im Bauernkrieg zerstörte Burg war Stammsitz derer , später kam sie an die Stiebar von Buttenheim. It was built as a motte castle The family are recorded as occupants of the castle which was mentioned in 1129 and destroyed in 1525 during the Peasants' Rebellion. Nothing has survived of the former castle. (en)
