Purnal William Goldy (November 28, 1937 – September 21, 2009) was an American professional baseball outfielder. Goldy was a right fielder in Major League Baseball who played for portions of the 1962 and 1963 seasons for the Detroit Tigers. Listed at 6 feet 5 inches (1.96 m) tall and 200 pounds (91 kg), Goldy batted and threw right-handed. The native of Camden, New Jersey, was signed by Detroit out of Temple University. During his two MLB trials, Goldy was a .231 hitter (18 hits in 78 at bats) with three home runs and 12 RBI in 29 games, including nine runs, one double and one triple.
