- الشرعية السياسية النفسية (الشرعية السياسية السيكولوجية)، هو مصطلح صاغه إيزاك بريليلتينسكي في عام 2003 باعتباره وسيلةً لتقييم أبحاث علم النفس المجتمعي وتدخلاته، ومدى انخراطها في ديناميكيات القوى والمستوى الأساسي للتحليل والنهوض بالعدالة الاجتماعية. قد تُستخدم سلسلة المعايير التي وضعها بريليلتينسكي في نطاق أي نموذج بحثي أو عملي مهم ضمن مجال العلوم الاجتماعية، لكنه يُمكن تعريفها ضمن إطار أبحاث علم النفس المجتمعي باعتبارها داعية إلى التركيز على الرفاه والاستبداد والتحرر على الأصعدة الجماعية والعلائقية والشخصية بحثيًا وعمليًا. تُعتبر دراسة بينيت حول النظام القديم للأميش في كندا وعلاقتهم بالدولة من خلال الاختلافات الثقافية وسياسات الزراعة الصناعية مثالًا على الأبحاث التي تستوفي الشرعية السياسية النفسية. يتحرى بحث بينيت في ديناميكيات القوى التي تربط ما بين الدولة والثقافة السائدة والمجتمع وشعب الأميش. يستعرض هذا البحث كل من موضوعي الاستبداد والتحرر على المستويين الفردي والمجتمعي، فضلًا عن كونه قادرًا على إحداث تغيير محلي جنبًا إلى جنب مع تغيير في السياسات العامة. - Los denominados “lavados de cerebro”, practicados a nivel individual, se consideran como una práctica psicopolítica cuando se los aplica a nivel masivo. Julio Meinvielle escribió: “El primer material sobre Psicopolítica fue hecho conocer en los EE. UU. en el año 1955 por Charles Stickley y luego en 1956 por Kenneth Goff, quienes hicieron conocer en realidad el mismo texto usado por el poderoso policía de la Unión Soviética Lavrenti Beria". (es)
- Psychopolitical validity was coined by Isaac Prilleltensky in 2003 as a way to evaluate community psychology research and interventions and the extent to which they engage with power dynamics, structural level of analysis, and promotion of social justice. The evaluative series of criteria developed by Prilleltensky may be used within any critical social science research and practice model, but can specifically be defined within community psychology research as advocating for a focus on well-being, oppression, and liberation across collective, relational, and personal domains in both research and practice. An example of research that maintains psychopolitical validity is Bennett's study of Old Order Amish in Canada and their relationship with the state via cultural differences and industrial agriculture policies. Bennett's research investigates power dynamics between the state, mainstream culture, society, and the Amish community. This research looks at oppression and liberation at individual and community levels, and leads to local change as well as change in public policy. (en)
