- Praia do Norte ist eine Freguesia (Gemeinde) auf der Azoreninsel Faial in Portugal. Die Gemeinde liegt im Nordwesten der Insel und besteht aus dem Hauptort in etwa 300 m Höhe an der inselumrundenden Nationalstraße EN-1 sowie Fajã da Praia do Norte auf einer Küstenebene direkt am Meer. Der Ort besitzt einen Strand aus dunklem Lavasand. Rund um Praia do Norte führt der gekennzeichnete Wanderweg PRC2FAI Rocha da Fajã (siehe auch Liste der Wanderwege in Portugal#Azoren). It is the least populous parish on the island, reached along the Estrada Regional E.R.1-1ª regional roadway from the urban centre of Horta. It contains the localities Cerca, Fajã and Praia do Norte.
