- خريطة الفقر هي خريطة تقدم وصفًا تفصيليًا للتوزيع المكاني للفقر وعدم المساواة الاجتماعية داخل البلد. وهي تجمع بين بيانات دراسة أجريت على مستوى الفرد والأسرة (جزئي) وبيانات تعداد السكان (كلي) بهدف تقييم مؤشرات الرفاهية لمناطق جغرافية معينة وصغيرة بحجم القرية أو النجع. ساعدت التطورات الحديثة التي طرأت على نظام المعلومات الجغرافي (نظم المعلومات الجغرافية) وقواعد البيانات وهندسة البرامج بمساعدة الكمبيوتر على جعل رسم مخططات الفقر أمرًا ممكنًا، حيث يمكن تقديم البيانات في شكل خرائط وواجهات متداخلة تمكنك من إجراء المقارنة. كما يستخدم التحليل المكاني ووضع المعايير لتقييم العلاقات بين مجموعتين من البيانات على المستويين الجزئي والكلي وفقًا للموقع الجغرافي. Combina los datos de las personas y los hogares (micro) y la población (macro) de datos del censo, con el objetivo de estimar los indicadores de bienestar para el área geográfica específica de un pueblo o aldea. - A poverty map is a map which provides a detailed description of the spatial distribution of poverty and inequality within a country. It combines individual and household (micro) survey data and population (macro) census data with the objective of estimating welfare indicators for specific geographic area as small as village or hamlet. Recent advances in geographic information systems (GIS), databases and computer aided software engineering make poverty mapping possible, where data can be presented in the form of maps and overlaying interfaces for cross-comparisons. Spatial analysis and benchmarking are also applied to assess the relationships between the two sets of micro and macro data according to their geographic location. (en)
