- La Société mathématique portugaise (en portugais : Sociedade Portuguesa de Matemática, SPM) est une société savante portugaise, fondée le 12 décembre 1940, dont les objectifs sont le développement de l'éducation et la diffusion et la promotion de la recherche en mathématiques au Portugal. La SPM est responsable de l'édition des revues scientifiques Portugaliæ Mathematica, Boletim SPM, Gazeta de Matemática et de plusieurs livres. Ses activités comprennent l'organisation de congrès, de conférences, de réunions scientifiques et des cours de formation pour les enseignants. Elle organise l'Olympiade mathématique portugaise et promeut également l'émission de télévision "This is mathematics", diffusée sur SIC Notícias et SIC International. Elle réunit des enseignants et des chercheurs en mathématiques qui s'intéressent au progrès de la discipline dans le pays. (fr)

SPM is responsible for the edition of scientific journal Portugaliæ Mathematica, Boletim SPM, Gazeta de Matemática and several books. Its activities include the organization of congresses, conferences, scientific meetings and training courses for teachers. SPM organizes the Portuguese Mathematical Olympiad and it also promotes the television show "This is mathematics", broadcast on SIC Notícias and SIC International. It brings together teachers and math researchers interested in the progress of the discipline in the country. (en)

A SPM é responsável pela publicação da revista científica , do Boletim da SPM, da Gazeta de Matemática e de diversos livros. As suas actividades incluem ainda a organização de eventos, congressos, palestras e encontros científicos e ainda acções de formação. Em parceria com a Universidade de Coimbra, organiza as Olimpíadas Portuguesas de Matemática e a participação de equipas portuguesas nas Olimpíadas Internacionais de Matemática, nas e nas Olimpíadas de Matemática da CPLP. Promove também o programa televisivo "Isto é Matemática", transmitido na SIC Notícias e SIC Internacional. Reúne professores e investigadores de matemática, interessados no progresso da disciplina no país. (pt)
