- قوى بوروندي الشعبية (بالفرنسية: Forces populaires du Burundi، وتُعرف اختصاراً: FPB) هي ميليشيا متمردة من بوروندي معارضة لنظام الرئيس البوروندي بيير نكورونزيزا، وتتخذ من جمهورية الكونغو الديمقراطية موقعا لأنشطتها. تأسست المجموعة عام 2015 عقب محاولة الانقلاب الفاشلة على حكومة نكورونزيزا في شهر مايو عام 2015 وما تبع ذلك من فترة الاضطرابات التي دخلت فيها البلاد. وكانت تُعرف سابقاً باسم قوى بوروندي الجمهورية. جندت المجموعة عناصرها من الجنود السابقين الذين سُرِحوا من الجيش البوروندي في أعقاب الانقلاب وذهب كثير منهم إلى شرقي الكونغو الديمقراطية وقدِم بعض المجندين من مخيم لوسيندا للاجئين الواقع في الكونغو الديمقراطية. ينتمي معظم أعضاء الفصيل إلى إثنية التوتسي، كما وتنتمي أقلية ملحوظة إلى إثنية الهوتو. وقاد المجموعة جيريمي نتيرانيباغيرا منذ الإعلان عن تأسيسها واستلم إدوارد نشيميريمانا إدارة المجموعة. ويُعروف نشاطها في الواقعان بمقاطعة كيفو الجنوبية في جمهورية الكونغو الديمقراطية بالقرب من الحدود البوروندية. تعاونت المجموعة مع فصيل مقاومة من أجل حكم القانون-تابارا (RED-Tabara) البوروندي والعديد من أعضاء المجموعة انشقوا فيما بعد لينضموا إلى قوى بوروندي الشعبية. كما توجد مزاعم تفيد بأن المجموعة كانت قد حصلت على دعم من جانب حكومة الكونغو الديمقراطية التي يتولى جوزيف كابيلا منصب رئاسة الجمهورية فيها، كما يُحتمل حصولها على دعم رواندي أيضاً. وأعلنت المجموعة في أغسطس 2017 عن تغيير اسمها في ضوء إعادة تنظيم صفوفها. - The Popular Forces of Burundi (French: Forces populaires du Burundi, known by the acronym FPB) is a Burundian rebel militia, active in the eastern Democratic Republic of the Congo. Formed amid the political unrest in 2015, the group opposed the government of Pierre Nkurunziza and was referred to as the Republican Forces of Burundi (Forces républicaines du Burundi, or Forebu) until it was renamed in August 2017. Forebu was formed on 23 December 2015 following a failed military coup against Nkurunziza's government in May 2015 and a subsequent period of unrest. The group recruited members from the ex-soldiers purged from the Burundian Army in the aftermath of the coup, many of whom had fled into the eastern Congo. Some recruits, however, were civilians from the Lusenda refugee camp. The majority of members were thought to come from the Tutsi ethnic group although a significant minority were Hutu. Forebu was led from its inception by Jérémie Ntiranyibagira and the groups administration was run by Edouard Nshimirimana. It is known to have been active in Fizi and Uvira territories in the Congolese province of South Kivu near the Burundian frontier. Forebu previously collaborated with another Burundian armed rebel faction, (Résistance pour un État de Droit au Burundi, or RED-Tabara) and many of the group's members have subsequently defected to Forebu. It was also alleged that Forebu had received support from the Congolese government of Joseph Kabila and, possibly, also from Rwanda. In August 2017, Forebu announced its change of name as part of a wider re-organisation. Four senior leaders of the FPB, including Ntiranyibagira and Nshimirimana, were arrested in Tanzania in October 2017 and extradicted almost immediately to Burundi. It was reported in April 2019 that the Armed Forces of the Democratic Republic of the Congo had launched an offensive against the FPB and the National Forces of Liberation (Forces nationales de libération, FNL) in Uvira Territory. 36 rebels were said to have been killed. Nkurunziza died shortly before his planned resignation from the Presidency in 2020. (en)
- Les Forces populaires du Burundi, anciennement Forces républicaines du Burundi ou Forebu, sont une faction armée burundaise particulièrement active depuis le début de la crise politique de 2015. Il s'oppose au régime en place de Pierre Nkurunziza. Les Forebu sont dirigées par le général Godefroid Niyombaré. Son fondateur est le lieutenant-colonel Edouard Nshimirimana, officier des transmissions à l’état-major ; il devient ensuite le numéro 2 du mouvement. En novembre 2016, les Forebu sont a priori peu nombreux : « Il y a là d’anciens officiers supérieurs qui ont quitté l’armée après le coup d’Etat raté de 2015. Leurs capacités opérationnelles sont limitées, notamment parce qu’ils disposent de peu de relais dans la population ». Selon l'ONU, le groupe compte quelques centaines d'hommes ; ces derniers sont basés dans les environs d'Uvira et Fizi, à la frontière avec la République démocratique du Congo. (fr)

Fundada em 2015, o grupo se opõe ao governo de Pierre Nkurunziza. Anteriormente era conhecida como Forças Republicanas do Burundi (em francês: Forces républicaines du Burundi, Forebu). O grupo foi fundado em dezembro de 2015, após um golpe militar fracassado contra o governo de Nkurunziza em maio de 2015 e um período subsequente de distúrbios. O grupo recrutou membros dos ex-soldados expurgados do Exército do Burundi após o golpe, muitos dos quais haviam fugido para o leste do Congo. Alguns recrutas também vieram do campo de refugiados de Lusenda. A maioria dos membros são oriundos do grupo étnico tutsi, embora uma minoria significativa seja hutu. Desde a sua criação, as Forebu foi liderado por Jérémie Ntiranyibagira, com Edouard Nshimirimana responsável pela administração do grupo.
