This fern produces several erect, narrowly lance-shaped leaves up to 50 centimeters in length. The leaves narrow near the bases. Essa è piuttosto diffusa, ma prevalentemente la si trova in piccoli agglomerati e notoriamente è più abbondante nei terreni ricchi di serpentinite.
