- The Petite rivière Malbaie (English: Little Malbaie River) is a tributary of the east bank of the Malbaie River, flowing in the unorganized territory of Lac-Pikauba, in the Charlevoix Regional County Municipality, in the administrative region of Capitale-Nationale, in the province of Quebec, in Canada. This watercourse crosses zec des Martres and Grands-Jardins National Park. The intermediate part of this small valley is accessible via the forest road route 381. Forestry is the main economic activity in this valley; recreational tourism, second. The surface of the Petite Rivière Malbaie is generally frozen from the end of November to the beginning of March; however, safe circulation on the ice is generally done from the beginning of December to the beginning of April. The water level of the river varies with the seasons and the precipitation; the spring flood generally occurs in April. (en)
