- Pancheshwar Nath Mahadev Mandir ( Also Baba Pancheshwar Nath Mahadev Mandir ) is a famous temple of Lord Shiva in Madhwapur block of Madhubani district in Mithila region of Bihar. This temple is also very famous for Ganesh Puja and Durga Puja festivals of Hindu. Every year four days occasion of Ganesh Puja festival is celebrated and organised by Ganesh Puja Samiti in the campus of the temple. Similarly Durga Puja festival is also organised every year in the campus of the temple by Durga Puja Samiti. Durga Puja was started 67 years ago in a hut by a local businessman Jibach Purve in the campus. In the Baba Pancheshwar Nath Mahadev temple campus, since 1954, the worship of the Goddess Durga is done collectively by the villagers in the holy festival of Durga Puja. In the Sawan month of Hindu calendar people around the village come here to do Jalabhishek on the Shivling of the temple on every Sombari ( Monday ) for fulfillment of their wishes. (en)
