- Ozimops cobourgianus is a species of molossid bat, insectivorous flying mammals known as freetail bats, which are found in north and west coastal regions of Australia. First described in 1959, the group were later recognised as species Mormopterus cobourgianus and soon placed with a new genus. They are associated with mangrove habitat and roost in the hollows of those trees, and known to seek food there and in eucalypt or melaleuca woodland or other coastal habitat. A smaller bat of genus Ozimops, O. cobourgianus are around fifty millimetres (two inches) long and weigh six to ten grams. Little is known of their habits. (en)

- De Mangrove Freetail Bat is een vleermuis uit het geslacht Mormopterus die voorkomt in mangroves langs de kust van West-Australië van de tot de golf van Exmouth. Deze soort heeft nog geen wetenschappelijke naam, maar staat bekend onder zijn Engelse naam; deze naam is dan ook voor dit artikel gebruikt. De populaties van deze soort werden eerder gezien als een deel van de ondersoort cobourgensis van Mormopterus loriae, nu een uitsluitend Nieuw-Guinese soort. De Mangrove Freetail Bat is bruin tot grijsbruin van kleur, de onderkant is geelgrijs, aan de voorkant wat geler. De kop-romplengte bedraagt 47 tot 55 mm, de staartlengte 30 tot 36 mm, de voroarmlengte 32,5 tot 35 mm en het gewicht 6,2 tot 9,0 g. (nl)
