- One Second est le cinquième album du groupe de musique électronique suisse Yello et le cinquième à ne contenir que des titres originaux (puisqu'il est précédé par un album de compilation/remix). Sorti en 1987, l'album est essentiellement connu pour la collaboration de Billy MacKenzie et de Shirley Bassey comme chanteurs invités. Shirley Bassey, dont la voix est surtout connue pour avoir interprété plusieurs génériques des films de la série des James Bond, est la voix additionnelle du titre The Rhythm Divine (qui ressemble effectivement aux génériques des films en question). L'album fut réédité en 2005 avec plusieurs pistes supplémentaires dans le cadre du projet Yello Remaster Serie. (fr)
- One Second is Yello's fifth original studio album, having been preceded by a 'new mix' compilation the previous year. Released in 1987, the album is noteworthy for featuring both Billy Mackenzie and Shirley Bassey, the latter singing vocals on "The Rhythm Divine". The songs "Call It Love", "Si Senor The Hairy Grill", "Moon On Ice", "Hawaiian Chance" were used on episodes of Miami Vice and the song "Santiago" used as a sample from Dunya Yunis' "Abu Zeluf". A couple of songs were also used in the 1990 film Nuns on the Run. The song "Si Senor The Hairy Grill" was used as theme song for the Fox TV show The Edge. (en)

Album reedytowany był w roku 2005 wszedł w skład sześciopłytowego kompletu Remaster Series, na który składa się sześć pierwszych płyt zespołu (odświeżonych dźwiękowo). Na płycie swych głosów użyczyli Billy Mackenzie i Shirley Bassey. (pl)

В цьому альбомі музиканти звернулись до латиноамериканських ритмів та запросили відомих вокалістів — Ширлі Бесі та Біллі МакКензі. Альбом увійшов до британських та американських чартів, композиції «The Rhythm Divine» та «Oh Yeah» стали хітами. Композиція «Call It Love» була використана в одному з епізодів популярного у США серіалу «Поліція Маямі».
