- الحرس السلطاني العُماني هو الحرس السلطاني لسلطنة عمان. تشكلت نواة الحرس السلطاني العماني في عام 1971م، يضم جناح الحرس السلطاني العُماني مقتنيات كثيرة من الأسلحة والمعدات و الأجهزة العسكرية التي إستخدمها السلاح منذ تأسيسه . يحتوي الحرس السلطاني العُماني على العديد من الفرق الموسيقية المختلفــة منهـــا :
* الفرقة الموسيقية الجنوبية .
* الفرقة الموسيقية الشمالية .
* فرقة الخيالة .
* فرقة الأوركسترا السمفونية العُمانية . تشكلت من عدة وحدات من الجيش السلطاني العماني و كان يعتبر الحرس السلطاني ليكون وحدة من القوات الخاصة الاحتفالية مسؤولة عن حماية السلطان . (ar)

- The Royal Guard of Oman (RGO) (Arabic: الحرس السلطاني العماني) is the royal guard of the Sultan of Oman. It is a separate service within the Sultan's Armed Forces (SAF) and although equipped to carry out land defense operations, it is not part of the Royal Army of Oman. The RGO is a personal security and ceremonial unit responsible for the protection of the Sultan and other senior members of the Royal Family. There are two other Royal Household partner organizations which directly interface with the RGO, they are:
* The Oman Royal Yacht Squadron - based in Muscat Harbor with moorings for larger royal vessels in Muttrah's Port Sultan Qaboos
* The Royal Flight of Oman - based at Muscat International Airport (en)
- Gwardia Królewska (arab. الحرس السلطاني, Al-Haras as-Sultani) – jeden z rodzajów sił zbrojnych Omanu, pełniący funkcje reprezentacyjne, ochrony sułtana oraz antyterrorystyczne. Gwardia jest pod osobistym dowództwem sułtana i nie stanowi części głównego aparatu ochrony państwa. Pełni rolę osobistej ochrony sułtana, a także ma zadanie wykrywania i zwalczania potencjalnych dysydentów i grup wywrotowych. Gwardia pełni też istotne funkcje reprezentacyjno-ceremonialne. W tym celu utrzymuje trzy orkiestry wojskowe, królewską orkiestrę symfoniczną, akrobacyjny zespół motocyklowy, spadochronowy, oraz kawaleryjski. Gwardia, podobnie jak regularne siły zbrojne, składa się z oddziałów lądowych, morskich i lotniczych. Jej siły wzrosły z 4000 w roku 1990 żołnierzy do 6400 w 2006 roku, zwiększono też znacząco jej zdolności bojowe przez zakup nowego sprzętu, w szczególności wozów pancernych. Koledż techniczny zapewnia możliwość kształcenia personelu gwardii. (pl)
