- The OTs-21 Malysh (Russian: ОЦ-21 «Малыш», meaning "kid") is a 9 mm semi-automatic pistol designed by the KBP Instrument Design Bureau for special applications where concealment is a key priority. The Malysh operates on the simple blowback principle; it is a double action only design with the ammunition capacity limited to five 9×18mm Makarov rounds (can use only 57-N-181S cartridges) in a box magazine with a base extension for more comfortable holding and firing. It features an internal hammer and there are no protrusions to hinder rapid withdrawal from a pocket or holster. The pistol has no safety other than the need for a definite pressure on the trigger. There are also no sights other than a groove along the top of the slide, emphasizing the intention that the OTs-21 Malysh is limited to very short-range engagements. (en)
- ОЦ-21 «Малюк» — російський самозарядний малогабаритний пістолет. Пістолет розробив у середині 1990-х років конструктор Тульського ЦКИБ СОО Ю. І. Березін як зброю прихованого носіння для державних воєнізованих організацій (ОЦ-21 під патрон 9х18 мм) і приватних охоронних структур (модифікація ОЦ- 21С під патрон 9х17 мм). Є нагородною зброєю. З 2006 року перебуває на озброєнні прокуратури РФ як зброя самозахисту для прокурорів і слідчих. Особливістю конструкції ОЦ-21 є відсутність виступних деталей, чого вдалося домогтися скасувавши запобіжні пристосування і зробивши курок, мушку і цілик прихованими. Автоматика пістолета працює за рахунок відбою вільного затвора. Боєприпаси подаються з однорядного коробчатого магазина на 5 патронів, в нижній частині якого знаходиться додатковий упор для безіменного пальця руки, що підвищує надійність утримання зброї при стрільбі. Розміри пістолета дозволяють його таємно носити в будь-якому одязі, дамській сумочці. (uk)
