After her child was stolen from her hands at birth, Nina was later involved in a romance with Phillip Chancellor III (Thom Bierdz), which resulted in another child, Phillip Chancellor IV (John Driscoll). Phillip III then died—which many years later proved to be faked—and Nina raised Phillip IV as a single mother. She became a novelist and screenwriter, also having marriages to David Kimble (Michael Corbett) and Ryan McNeil (Scott Reeves). Nina was also involved with a man named Tomas Del Cerro (Francesco Quinn), a publisher interested in a novel of hers about her stolen son. In 2010, Nina met her long lost son, revealed to be Ronan Malloy (Jeff Branson). In 1992, Cast won a Daytime Emmy Award for her portrayal. (en)
