Nick Schroer is an American politician in the Missouri House of Representatives, elected in November 2016 to represent District 107. He beat Democratic Party candidate Curtis "Wylde" Wells with just under 65 percent of votes cast, having run for the Republican Party. Schroer was re-elected in 2018 and 2020. In 2019, Schroer sponsored legislation to ban abortions eight weeks into a pregnancy. The legislation would also prevent women from having abortions if the fetus is diagnosed with Down syndrome.
