- جهاز المخابرات الوطني البحريني وكان يُسمى سابقًا جهاز الأمن الوطني، أُنشئ الجهاز بموجب المرسوم الملكي رقم 14 لسنة 2002 المعدل للمرسوم الأميري رقم 29 لسنة 1996 بشأن تنظيم وزارة الداخلية، وتبعًا لهذا المرسوم فقد حل جهاز الأمن الوطني محل الإدارة العامة لأمن الدولة والتي كانت تتبع وزارة الداخلية. ويرأس هذا الجهاز مدير يتساوى في الدرجة مع درجة وزير بمجلس الوزراء، وهو حاليًا اللواء ووفقًا للقانون الذي يحكم هذا الجهاز فهو يتبع رئيس الوزراء صاحب السمو الملكي الأمير خليفة بن سلمان آل خليفة. منحت الجهاز القدرة على الاعتقال بموجب مرسوم ملكي عام 2008 وخسر هذه السلطة في عام 2011 بالمرسوم الملكي. - La Agencia de Seguridad Nacional, también conocida como Agencia de Inteligencia de Baréin (BIA1) (en árabe, جهاز الأمن الوطني); es un organismo de investigación con sede en Baréin, asociada al Ministerio del Interior. La ASN fue creada por el Rey Hamad mediante el Decreto N.º 14 de 2002, en el cual se estipulaba la sustitución de la antigua Dirección General de Investigaciones de Seguridad Nacional por esta nueva institución. La ASN recibió de igual manera por Real Decreto en 2008 la facultad para realizar detenciones, pero le fue retirada esta competencia en 2011, también mediante Real Decreto. (es)
- The National Security Agency or The Bahrain Intelligence Agency (BIA1) (Arabic: جهاز الأمن الوطني) is an investigating authority in Bahrain that is associated with but not formally part of the Ministry of the Interior. The NSA was formed after King Hamad issued Decree No. 14 of 2002 declaring it as the replacement of the General Directorate for State Security Investigations. The NSA was granted the power to make arrests by a 2008 Royal Decree, and lost this power in 2011, again by Royal Decree. (en)
