- اليوم الوطني للشمس (بالإسبانية: Fiesta Nacional del Sol) هو احتفال سنوي شعبي يجري في مدينة سان خوان وغيرها من المواقع في محافظة سان خوان بالأرجنتين. عادةً ما يُحتفل بهذا اليوم في شهر شباط/فبراير من كل عام ويُحقق للدولة بعض المنافع والمزايا الاقتصاديّة بسبب إقبالِ الأرجنتينيين عليه. يشملُ الاحتفال بعض الأنشطة والمُسابقات بما في ذلك مسابقة ملكة جمال الشمس التي تتنافس عليها تسعة سيّدات من تسعة محافظات. - La Fiesta Nacional del Sol o Fiesta del Sol es la celebración, evento o festival en honor al Sol,que se lleva a cabo anualmente en la Provincia de San Juan, durante la última semana del mes de febrero, a lo largo de cinco días. Dando a través de ella una muestra itineraria de las actividades económicas, costumbres, cultura, personajes y hechos históricos de dicha provincia y país. La primera Fiesta del Sol se llevó a cabo en 1972, y recibió denominaciones como Ferisol en 1978, o Exposol en 1992. En 1993, al categorizarla como nacional, se comenzó a denominar Fiesta Nacional del Sol. El evento incluye desfile de carruajes e importantes exposiciones temáticas acompañadas de espectáculos con artistas locales, nacionales e internacionales. La fiesta finaliza con la elección de embajadoras nacionales del sol y una mega exposición, donde lo teatral, variadas coreografías, luces y sonidos, son los protagonistas principales. La elección de las embajadoras es un concurso en el cual candidatas representan a cada uno de los diecinueve departamentos de San Juan. La elegida representan a la provincia durante un año, asistiendo a otras fiestas nacionales y provinciales, así como también a ferias y eventos de turismo, para promocionar la provincia, entre otras muchas actividades. Esta fiesta junto a otros festivales nacionales forma parte del ciclo "", que a través de la Televisión Pública Nacional transmite las celebraciones populares del verano a todo el país. (es)
