- ناريش أو نارِس وهي منطقة تقع في بابل وفقاً للمصادر اليهوية القديمة.تقع ناريش أو نارِس بالقرب من منطقة سورا القريبة من القناة المائية. قد تكون متطابقة مع مدينة نهراس أو ما تسمى بـنهر سار المطلة على نهر دجلة. وقد تم ذكرها مع المدائن أو ما تسمى بـسلمان باك الواقعة جنوب شرق بغداد, وأيضا مع سافونيا و بومبيديتا أو ماتسمى في الوقت الحالي بـالفلوجة. على الرغم من ذكرها سوياً إلا أنه لا يعني أنها قريبة من بعض. من المحتمل أنها تبعد 20 كم جنوب شرق سورا, في قرية نارسا الحديثة في منطقة الحلة. - Naresh or Nareš was a city from the area called by ancient Jewish sources Babylonia, situated near Sura on a canal. It may be identical with the city of Nahras or Nahar Sar on the Tigris, and is mentioned together with Maḥuza, , and Pumbedita, although it must not be inferred that these cities were near one another. It was probably located about 20km southeast of Sura, at the modern village of Narsa in the Hilla region. (en)
- Selon d'anciennes sources juives, Naresh ou Nareš était une ville de Babylonie, située près de Soura sur un canal. Il pourrait s'agir de la ville de Nahras ou Nahar Sar sur le Tigre. Elle est mentionnée avec Maḥuza, Safonia et Pumbedita, bien qu'il ne faut pas en déduire que ces villes étaient proches les unes des autres.
