- نهار نت (بالإنجليزية: Naharnet) هي وسيلة إعلام إلكترونية لبنانية مستقلة تأسست في سنة 1998 وانطلقت في سبتمبر 2000، وكانت أول بوابة إخبارية لبنانية متعددة اللغات لا تزال قائمة حتى الآن (أبريل 2012)، تقدم الأخبار باللغتين العربية والإنكليزية بواسطة فريق من الصحفيين متعددي اللغات، وتسعى إلى تقديم الأخبار بأسلوب موضوعي شامل غير منحاز. تذكر نهار نت في موقعها أنها مؤسسة خاصة مستقلة غير مرتبطة بأية أحزاب سياسية أو مؤسسات إعلامية أخرى، ويمثل صحفيوها «النسيج الاجتماعي للمجتمع اللبناني»، وتركز على الوقائع مع تجنب عرض الآراء أو التحليلات. يزور الموقع حوالي مليوني شخص سنوياً، أغلبهم لبنانيون من أكثر من 220 بلداً. - Naharnet is one of the first Lebanese online media after An Nahar newspaper was online in September 1995. It was launched in September 2000. At its initial phase it was a portal and virtual community for Lebanese and Arabs everywhere. Naharnet quickly grew to become one of the leading portals in the Lebanese market and diaspora spreading over 220 countries. It provides news, information, entertainment, mobile and social networking services. Naharnet currently focuses on providing real-time political news and information about Lebanon and the Middle East, in English and Arabic. Naharnet is not affiliated in any way with newspaper An Nahar. (en)
