- Museum of Political Repression Victims — it was opened in 1925 in the building where the main repressive bodies of the state, the Emergency Commission, the People's Commissariat for Internal Affairs and Committee for State Security were located. There were detention cells in the basement of the building, questioning rooms, and places where inmates were shot who sentenced for death The museum's exposition tells about the saddest years of Azerbaijan's history, the repressive policy of the USSR in 1920–1950, which resulted in the political repression of hundred of thousands of public figures and statesmen, delegates of art, culture, science and ordinary citizens. - Музей жертв политических репрессий — открыт в здании, в котором с 1925 года функционировали основные репрессивные органы государства: Чрезвычайная комиссия, Народный комиссариат внутренних дел и Комитет государственной безопасности. В подвале здания находились камеры содержания, следственные комнаты, места расстрела приговорённых к смертной казни . Экспозиция музея свидетельствует о самых печальных страницах азербайджанской истории, репрессивной политике СССР в 1920-1950-х годах, в результате которой сотни тысяч общественных и государственных деятелей, представителей науки, культуры, искусства, рядовых граждан были подвергнуты политическим репрессиям. Общее количество граждан, подвергнувшихся политическим репрессиям в 1920-1950-х годах, составило более 400 тысяч человек. (ru)
