- Els pony mounted games són uns jocs originaris de Anglaterra. El seu origen són els entrenaments que feia l'exèrcit a cavall.Dins aquest petit mon dels Pony Games hi ha 4 categories internacionals:
* Categoria -12: Els genets han de ser menors de 12 anys.
* Categoria -14: Els genets han de ser menors de 14 anys.
* Categoria -17: Els genets han de ser menors de 17 anys.
* Categoria OPEN: Els genets no tenen límit d'edat. (ca)
- Mounted Games (engl. „Spiele zu Pferde“) sind ein Teamreitsport, bei dem Staffelrennen mit verschiedenen Aufgaben durchgeführt werden. Ein Mounted-Games-Team besteht aus fünf Reitern mit ihren Ponys, wobei pro Spiel immer nur vier Pferde nacheinander zum Einsatz kommen. So hat der Trainer die Möglichkeit, die für das jeweilige Spiel am besten geeigneten Teammitglieder einzusetzen. Bei dieser Sportart sind reiterliche und athletische Fähigkeiten gleichermaßen gefordert. Neben Schnelligkeit, Mut und Geschicklichkeit ist auch Teamfähigkeit gefragt. Obwohl ursprünglich ein reiner Teamsport, werden heute auch Einzel- und Paarwettbewerbe durchgeführt. Mit Ausnahme von Deutschland, wo auch Pferde (über 1,48 m Stockmaß) zugelassen sind, werden Mounted Games ausschließlich auf Ponys geritten. (de)
- Le Pony-Games (appelé également Mounted-Games) est un sport équestre qui se joue à poney, en équipe (4 ou 5 cavaliers), en paire (2 ou 3 cavaliers) ou en individuel (1 seul cavalier). Le Pony-Games requièrent une endurance physique toute particulière et une cohésion d'équipe. C'est un sport qui apprend à vivre en société et qui enseigne la confiance en soi et la confiance envers l'autre. Cette discipline permet aussi de faire découvrir aux jeunes cavaliers l'équitation de façon ludique. (fr)
- Mounted Games is a branch of equestrian sport in which fast games are played on ponies up to a height of about 152 cm (15 h). They require athletic ability, riding skills, hand-to-eye coordination, determination, perseverance, and a competitive spirit, which nevertheless requires an ability to work together with other riders and a willingness to help one another. Mounted Games were the inspiration of Prince Philip. When Col. Sir Mike Ansell was Director of the Horse of the Year Show, Prince Philip asked if he could devise a competition for children who could not afford an expensive, well-bred pony, and in 1957 the Horse of the Year Show, then at Harringay Arena in North London, England, staged the first Mounted Games Championship for the Prince Philip Cup—it was an immediate box office success. The sport of Mounted Games as it exists today was founded by Norman Patrick. His aim was to extend the sport, previously age-restricted by Pony Club, for wider participation, and for this reason, in 1984, he established the Mounted Games Association of Great Britain. In the years which followed his continued support and patronage ensured that the sport spread across Great Britain and beyond. At the time of his death in 2001, the sport which he had established was being enjoyed by many riders around the world, and the International Mounted Games Association, which was formed in 2003, now has members in 24 countries on 5 continents.
