- Die Agglomeration Montreal (französisch Agglomération de Montréal) ist ein Gemeindeverband im Süden der kanadischen Provinz Québec. Sie ist deckungsgleich mit einer der 17 Verwaltungsregionen (régions administratives) der Provinz. Darüber hinaus ist sie die zweitkleinste und bevölkerungsreichste Region und erfüllt die Funktion einer regionalen Grafschaftsgemeinde. Sitz der Verwaltung ist Montreal. Die Einwohnerzahl beträgt 1.942.044 (Stand: 2016). 2011 betrug die Einwohnerzahl 1.958.257 und die Landfläche 498,2 km², was einer Bevölkerungsdichte von 3930,8 Einwohnern je km² entsprach. 63,8 % der Einwohner sprachen Französisch und 22,5 % Englisch als Hauptsprache. Im Süden und Osten grenzt die Agglomeration Montreal an die Region Montérégie, im Westen an Laurentides, im Norden an Laval und Lanaudière. (de)

Elle est dirigée par le conseil d'agglomération. Le territoire de l'agglomération comprend l'entièreté de l'île de Montréal, de l'île Bizard et quelques autres petites îles. L'agglomération couvre donc le même territoire que la région administrative de Montréal. L'agglomération ne doit pas être confondue avec la Communauté Métropolitaine de Montréal qui inclut l'île de Montréal et toutes les autres municipalités et MRC de l'aire métropolitaine (la ville de Laval, la Rive-Nord et la Rive-Sud). It is also a territory equivalent to a regional county municipality (TE) and a census division (CD), for both of which its geographical code is 66. Prior to the merger of the municipalities in Region 06 in 2002, the administrative region was co-extensive with the Montreal Urban Community. Located in the southern part of the province, the territory includes several of the islands of the Hochelaga Archipelago in the Saint Lawrence River, including the Island of Montreal, Nuns' Island (Île des Sœurs), Île Bizard, Saint Helen's Island (Île Sainte-Hélène), Île Notre-Dame, Dorval Island (Île Dorval), and several others. The region is the second-smallest in area (499.26 km², or 192.77 sq mi) and most populous (1,942,044 as of the 2016 Canadian Census) of Quebec's seventeen administrative regions. (en)
