MonoTorrent is a cross-platform .NET Standard 2.0 compatible library which implements the BitTorrent protocol. As a result, MonoTorrent can be compiled and executed on every major operating system, including smart phones, IoT or other mobile devices. The aim of this library is not to provide a rich graphical interface for users to interact with, but rather to provide a rich programming API to allow a developer to create a GUI using the library without having to worry about reinventing the wheel by implementing the BitTorrent specification themselves.
