- The Mitsubishi Racing Lancer (code-named MRX09) is a cross-country rally car developed by Mitsubishi Motors for competing in 2009 Dakar rally. "MRX09" stands for Mitsubishi Rally X-Country. The car was built to the FIA's Group T1 rules, and competed in the 2009 Dakar Rally. It has a tubular steel frame with carbon fiber bodywork. Unlike previous Mitsubishi cross-country rally cars, the Racing Lancer's bodywork resembles the Mitsubishi Lancer Sportback instead of the Mitsubishi Pajero. (en)
- La Mitsubishi Racing Lancer (nome in codice MRX09, Mitsubishi Rally X-Country), chiamata anche Mitsubishi Lancer 4WD Racing, è un buggy da competizione costruita dalla scuderia Giappo Mitsubishi secondo le norme del gruppo T1 (veicoli fuoristrada prototipi) dal 2008 al 2012 per partecipare a varie competizioni nell'ambito del rally raid, tra le quali il Rally Dakar e la coppa del mondo rally raid. La Mitsubishi Racing Lancer è stata sviluppata da Mitsubishi Motors per poter competere nella Dakar 2009, secondo le regole del Gruppo T1 della FIA. La vettura ha un telaio in tubolare d'acciaio con carrozzeria in fibra di carbonio, ma ha differenza delle precedenti auto da rally raid Mitsubishi, la carrozzeria della Racing Lancer si rifà a quella della invece che alla Mitsubishi Pajero. Al Rally Dakar 2009 con alla guida il pilota spagnolo Nani Roma, ottenne un 10º posto.L'anno seguente alla Rally Dakar 2010, tre vetture presero il via, con Carlos Sousa che si piazzò 6° e le altre due di 9° e 10°. - 三菱・レーシングランサー (英語: Racing Lancer) は、三菱自動車がダカール・ラリー参戦を目的に開発したクロスカントリーラリーカーである。 1983年よりパジェロでダカール・ラリーをはじめとするクロスカントリーラリー競技に参戦してきた三菱は、2008年のダカール・ラリー参戦体制発表の場で2009年よりクリーンディーゼルを搭載した新型車両で参戦することを明かし、2008年7月に「レーシングランサー」を公開した。背景にはレギュレーション上有利なディーゼルエンジンを採用する競合の性能向上に、ガソリンエンジンで対抗することが難しくなっていること。パジェロの販促として始まったダカール・ラリー参戦が、CI活動に変化していたことがある。 車両開発は2007年8月に開始され、2008年6月に1号車が完成した。その後フランス、スペイン、モロッコでのテストを経て、2008年10月の 第6戦 バハ・ポルトガルで実戦投入、続いてに参戦した。ダカール・ラリー終了後、三菱はワークス活動の終了を決定した。 (ja)
