Miguel Angel Rivera Vargas (born July 8, 1943) is a former Puerto Rican jockey who competed between the 1960s to 1990s. After he went back and forth between Puerto Rico and mainland United States during the 1960s, Rivera moved to the mainland United States during the early 1970s. As part of the Triple Crown of Thoroughbred Racing, Rivera won the 1974 Preakness Stakes and the 1974 Belmont Stakes. In additional Triple Crown races, Rivera's highest finish at the Kentucky Derby was sixth during 1977. For the Filly Triple Crown, Rivera won one of the Acorn Stakes races in 1974.
