- Lärm va ser una banda neerlandesa de , formada l'any 1981. Va ser una de les bandes de hardcore punk ràpid i sorollós més destacades de la primera època, pionera del grindcore i de l'estil punk straight edge a Europa, a més de fundadors de l'escena straight edge comunista als Països Baixos. Es van dissoldre el 1987 i, a continuació, la majoria dels membres van formar el grup Seein' Red. Tanmateix, van tornar a ajuntar-se breument el 1995 després d'haver publicat una compilació en forma d'EP titulada Extreme Noise Terrorism. L'any 2003, es van reunir de nou sota el nom de Lärm As Fuck, van gravar algunes cançons i van fer alguns concerts, fins que el 2012 van fer el seu concert de comiat. (ca)

- Lärm (German for noise) were a Dutch straight edge hardcore band formed in 1981, first playing under the name of Total Chaoz. They referred to their music as "extreme noise", though having nothing to do with noise rock or noise music. Due to members being straight edge, which was something uncommon in the crust punk scene, Lärm were different from many bands at the time. Members went on to form and the communist straight edge band Manliftingbanner, who played in a more conventional hardcore punk style. (en)
- I Lärm (tedesco per rumore) sono stati un gruppo musicale hardcore/thrashcore olandese, formatosi nel 1981, inizialmente con il nome «Total Chaoz».Il gruppo è stato fondamentale per lo sviluppo del power violence, insieme a band come gli Heresy e i , ed è talvolta annoverato tra i pionieri del grindcore. Tuttavia il gruppo si definiva di genere extreme noise, pur non avendo nulla a che fare con il noise rock o il noise. I Lärm si differenziavano dalla maggior parte delle band del loro genere poiché erano straight edge, cosa decisamente non comune nelle scene crust punk e grindcore. Alcuni componenti suonarono poi nei , band tuttora in attività. Dal 2003 i Lärm suonano un concerto all'anno. I Seein' Red hanno registrato nuovamente alcune tracce della band con il nome Lärm As Fuck. (it)
