- Die Luisenburg war ein von 1728 bis 1945 existierendes Lustschloss bei Blankenburg im Landkreis Harz (Sachsen-Anhalt). Das kleine Schloss wurde auf dem (352,4 m ü. NN) südlich oberhalb des Schlosses Blankenburg als Aussichtspunkt von Herzog Ludwig Rudolf von Braunschweig-Wolfenbüttel für seine Gemahlin Christine Luise von Oettingen-Oettingen in Auftrag gegeben, 1728 errichtet und nach ihr benannt. Es handelte sich um einen eingeschossigen Fachwerkbau mit einem achteckigen Saal, der von acht kleinen Zimmern umgeben war. Wegen Baufälligkeit wurde das Gebäude 1945 abgetragen. Heute lassen die vorhandenen Reste der Außenmauern und die Aufgangstreppen das einstige Aussehen des Gebäudes erahnen. Ein Nachbau der Luisenburg im Maßstab 1:15 befindet sich im Herbergsmuseum in Blankenburg. Die Ruine Luisenburg ist als Nr. 77 in das System der Stempelstellen der Harzer Wandernadel einbezogen. Der Stempelkasten hängt am Ort der einstigen Luisenburg an einem überdachten Rastplatz. (de)

It was built in 1728 on the Calviusberg hilltop above Blankenburg Castle as a belvedere for Duchess , and was named after her. The Luisenburg was a single-storey timber-framed building with an octagonal hall surrounded by eight small rooms. In 1945 it was demolished due to its advanced state of dilapidation. Today there are some remains of the exterior walls and its staircase. A refuge hut, that also serves as checkpoint no. 77 on the hiking trail network of the Harzer Wandernadel, stands on the site of the Luisenburg. From the Calviusberg there is a good view of the northern Harz Foreland including the settlements of Cattenstedt and Timmenrode.
