This is the list of candidates for the 2018 Malaysian general election. All names listed here are expected to contest in 222 parliamentary seats and 505 state seats (from 12 state legislative assemblies). The parliamentary election deposit was set at RM 10,000 per candidate, double the state election deposit per candidate. Similar to previous elections, the election deposit will be forfeited if the particular candidate had failed to secure at least 12.5% or one-eighth of the votes.
