Since the formation of Indian Super League in 2014, 13 players have accrued 100 or more appearances in ISL. The first player to reach the milestone was defender Mandar Rao Dessai, in representation of Goa and Mumbai City; his 100th match was Mumbai City's 3–0 win over East Bengal on 1 December 2020. Along with Dessai, Sunil Chhetri, Sandesh Jhingan and Reagan Singh are the only players to achieve the feat by playing for the least number of ISL clubs: 2. The only foreigner to play 100 ISL matches is Spanish defender Tiri, for ATK, Jamshedpur and ATK Mohun Bagan.
