Lewis Hudison Persely, alternatively spelled Louis Pursley, (1888 or 1890 - 1932) was an architect in the United States. Louis Persley became the first African American to register with the new Georgia State Board of Registered Architects on April 5, 1920. He studied at Lincoln University, and Carnegie Institute of Technology. He became a professor at Tuskegee Institute in Tuskegee, Alabama. Persely and fellow architect Robert Robinson Taylor collaborated on the design of several buildings on Tuskegee Institute campus. A historical marker commemorates him.
