Lewis Galoob (November 22, 1918 – August 4, 1971), originally from Oklahoma, was an inventor and the founder of Lewis Galoob Toys with his wife, Barbara Galoob, in 1957. The California-based company was originally founded as a toy and stationary distributor. Later, after Lewis Galoob fell ill, leadership of Galoob fell to their son, waterbed salesman David Galoob.
