- Les Champs Libres (literally The Free Fields) is a cultural center in Rennes, France hosting the Library of Rennes Métropole, the Museum of Brittany, the Espace des sciences (and its planetarium), and the Cantine numérique rennaise. There are also a conference hall and an exhibition room. Les Champs Libres opened in 2006, and is located in the center of Rennes near the railway station. The building was designed by the architect Christian de Portzamparc. (en)
- Les Champs libres est un équipement de la communauté d'agglomération Rennes Métropole, regroupant deux entités de Rennes Métropole, Bibliothèque de Rennes Métropole et le musée de Bretagne, ainsi que deux associations, l'Espace des sciences et son planétarium. L'ensemble est complété par la salle de conférences Hubert Curien et la salle d'exposition Anita-Conti. Les Champs libres ont ouvert au public le 28 mars 2006. Désignés sous le code de « Nouvel équipement culturel » (NEC) lors de leur construction, les Champs libres ont été dessinés par Christian de Portzamparc. Le projet de l'architecte consiste à rendre les trois entités immédiatement identifiables de l'extérieur, tout en libérant de l'espace au rez-de-chaussée pour le public et les expositions temporaires.
