- Lepidophyma tuxtlae, the Tuxtla tropical night lizard, is a species of lizard in the family Xantusiidae. It is a small lizard found in Mexico. It is native to the Sierra de los Tuxtlas in coastal Veracruz and south and west into northern Oaxaca, southern Veracruz, and northern Chiapas. It is found from 150 to 1,500 meters elevation. (en)

La UICN clasifica a la especie a nivel mundial como insuficientemente estudiada. No se incluye ninguna subespecie en el Catálogo de vida. La especie se encuentra con varias poblaciones distintas en el sur de México. Reside en regiones ubicadas entre 150 y 1500 metros sobre el nivel del mar. Lepidophyma tuxtlae vive en bosques húmedos y en bosques nubosos. (es)
