- La LZ-2 es una de las carreteras principales de la isla de Lanzarote en Canarias, España. Partiendo desde la capital insular Arrecife, comunica la zona sur de la isla, finalizando en la localidad de Playa Blanca, en el municipio de Yaiza, desde cuyo puerto salen los barcos que comunican la isla con Fuerteventura a través del estrecho de la Bocaina. La LZ-2 también da acceso al Aeropuerto de Lanzarote. Como Carretera de Interés Regional, forma parte del denominado Eje Órzola-Arrecife-Playa Blanca. El Gobierno de Canarias ostenta su titularidad, encargándose el Cabildo de Lanzarote de su mantenimiento. El tramo entre Arrecife y Tías (aproximadamente 11 kilómetros) se encuentra desdoblada, con dos carriles por sentido, soportando una intensidad media diaria cercana a los 30.000 vehículos en Playa Honda en 2011. - LZ-2 is one of the main roads on the island of Lanzarote in the Canary Islands. It leads south from the island's capital, Arrecife, ending at the island's southernmost town of Playa Blanca. From here, ferries are available to cross the strait of La Bocayna, effectively connecting the LZ-2 to the FV-1 on the island of Fuerteventura. Lanzarote Airport is also accessed by the LZ-2. Although most of the island's roads are owned by the island council (cabildo insular), roads of major importance such as the LZ-2 are owned by the Government of the Canary Islands. The road is a dual carriageway, with two lanes in each direction, between Arrecife and Tías (approximately 11 kilometres (6.8 mi)); the rest of the route, between Tías and Playa Blanca (approximately 26 kilometres (16 mi)) is a single carriageway. As of July 2019, there are two fixed speed cameras on LZ-2, on kilometre 1.2 in both directions; the speed limit at this point is 100 kilometres per hour (62 mph). (en)
- De LZ-2 is een verkeersweg op het Spaanse eiland Lanzarote. De weg loopt vanuit de stad Arrecife via Tias en Yaiza naar het zuiden van het eiland bij de plaats Playa Blanca. De totale lengte is 37 km. Bij Arrecife sluit de LZ-2 aan op de randweg LZ-3. Het gedeelte tussen Arrecife en Tias is de enige autosnelweg op het eiland met 2 rijbanen met elk 2 rijstroken en ongelijkvloerse kruisingen door middel van op- en afritconstructies. Hier bevindt zich ook de aansluiting naar luchthaven Lanzarote. Ten zuiden van Tias tot aan de zuidelijke kustplaats Playa Blanca bestaat de weg uit 1 rijbaan en 1 rijstrook per richting en overwegend gelijkvloerse kruisingen. (nl)
