The project relies on contributors to adapt passages. As of March 27, 2008, approximately 61% of the text had been adapted, and Grondin stated that he hoped the entire New Testament would be complete by the end of 2008. - Le projet de traduction de la bible en lolcat, ou LOLCat Bible Translation Project, est un site basé sur un moteur mediaWiki dont l'objet est de traduire l'intégralité de la bible en langage lolcat. Il a été lancé en juillet 2007 par Martin Grondin, un Américain habitant à Dracut, Massachusetts. En décembre 2007, déjà 30 % des anciens et nouveaux testaments avaient été traduits. Quasiment entièrement traduite en août 2009 et achevée en novembre 2009[réf. nécessaire], la bible a été éditée plus tard par Ulysses Press, une société de Berkeley.
