Kimberleydiscus fasciatus is a species of air-breathing land snail, a terrestrial pulmonate gastropod mollusk in the family Camaenidae. Kimberleydiscus fasciatus is the only species in the genus Kimberleydiscus. The generic name Kimberleydiscus consist of "Kimberley", that is a region in Western Australia and of the suffix "-discus", that is from the Latin language (originally derived from the Greek word "diskos") and means disc, and it refers to the discoid shape of the shell. The specific name fasciatus is from the Latin language and means "banded".
