- Die Karl-Preusker-Medaille ist eine Auszeichnung, die der Verband Bibliothek & Information Deutschland in Erinnerung an Karl Benjamin Preusker jährlich am Tag der Bibliotheken an Personen und Institutionen verleiht, die den Kulturauftrag des Bibliothekswesens wirkungsvoll fördern. Die Auszeichnung wurde 1996 von der Deutschen Literaturkonferenz begründet und bis 2009 von ihr verliehen. Sie „gilt als eine der höchsten Auszeichnungen im deutschen Bibliothekswesen“. (de)

The award was established in 1996 by the Deutschen Literaturkonferenz (German Literature Conference) and awarded by it until 2009.
