- Kamativi ist ein 940 m hoch gelegenes Dorf mit 1600 Einwohnern (2006) in der Provinz Matabeleland North in Simbabwe. Dort liegt es 40 km nordöstlich von Dete an der Straße nach Binga. In Kamativi liegt bei einem Zinn-Bergwerk, dessen Vorkommen die größten des Landes und auch Afrikas sind und einen SnO2-Gehalt (Kassiterit) von 70 % haben. Die Förderung ist in den politischen Wirren zur Zeit allerdings zusammengebrochen, wie der Zimbabwe Standard am 21. Mai 2006 berichtete. In Kamativi gibt es ein Krankenhaus. In Dorf ist Militär stationiert. Es werden dort vier sogenannte Jugendtrainingslager für die bisher wahlentscheidenden Milizen und Schlägertruppen der ZANU-PF unterhalten.
