- Isakhel (també Isa Khel) és una ciutat del districte de Mianwali, al Panjab, Pakistan, capital del tehsil del mateix nom. La població el 1901 era de 7.630 habitants. El 1998 la població era de 14.998 habitants. Fou fundada el 1830 per Ahmad Khan, ancestre dels kans Isa Khel dels Niazai. El nom el va agafar de Shah Isa Khel, un mestre de religió, els descendents del qual encara viuen a la ciutat. La municipalitat fou creada el 1875. Fou capital del districte de Bannu fins al novembre de 1901 quan es va crear la [Província de la Frontera del Nord-oest] i Bannu hi fou inclosa sense el tehsil d'Isakhel que va passar al nou districte de Mianwali al Panjab. - Isa Khel ist eine kleine historische Stadt in der Provinz Punjab in Pakistan. Sie ist benannt nach einem berühmten Anführer der Niazis, Isa Khan, welcher als General unter Sher Shah Suri diente. Isa Khans Mausoleum ist ein klassisches Baudenkmal seiner Zeit, ist bis heute erhalten und kann in Neu-Delhi besichtigt werden. Isa Khel war ursprünglich Hauptstadt des Distriktes Bannu. Bei der Abspaltung der Nordwestlichen Grenzprovinz (seit 2010 Khyber Pakhtunkhwa) im Jahre 1901 kamBannu als Distrikt dorthin, während Isa Khel in der damaligen Provinz Punjab verblieb und dem neu gegründeten zugeteilt wurde. Isa Khel ist der Hauptort des Unterstammes Isa Khel der Niazi-Paschtunen. Sein Oberhaupt trägt den Titel Khan und wurde zur Zeit der britischen Herrschaft auch als Nawab bezeichnet. (de)
- Isakhel (Urdu: عِيسىٰ خيل) is a town of Mianwali District in the Punjab province of Pakistan. The town is the headquarters of Isakhel Tehsil, an administrative subdivision of the district. Isakhel is an important town located in the west of Mianwali District. It is named after (Tarna to Isa Khan), a Niazi chief. Until November 1901 Isa Khel was the tehsil headquarters of Bannu District - however after the North-West Frontier Province was created from Punjab province, Bannu District was included in the North-West Frontier Province without the Isakhel Tehsil. Isakhel became part of the newly formed Mianwali District of the Punjab. Isa Khel was also the residence of the Khan's from the same family called the sons of Khanzaman Khan Niazi who used to own substantial Agriculture land. After land reforms were implemented by Ayub khan, substantial land was taken by the government from Khan's. (en)
